The business development challenges of a one-person business

Thad is a Business and Technology entrepreneur who owns his own business that focuses on providing scalable processes around software development and QA. Being a business owner, Thad wears a lot of different hats in his day-to-day work, and business development was always a challenge due to a lack of time and resources.  

Thad had a lot of the pieces in place for a successful bus-dev strategy. “I love to write thought-leadership content that resonates with my target audience, and then use Twitter to boost any content I publish,” he explained. Thad also had a great looking website for prospects to be funneled through to. The only thing missing was the qualified traffic.

Finding his stride with the hard to reach CTO audience

Thad struggled to reach more decision-makers who had budget authority to approve of his service. Targeting a high-volume of CTOs was no easy feat for a one-man business.
